JOB OPENING – PHYSIOTHERAPIST

Go! Physiotherapy Sports & Wellness Centre would like to welcome an enthusiastic full-time physiotherapist to our expert team. This position would offer both a mixed orthopedic and sports caseload along with a post-mastectomy/oncology caseload. This would include mentorship and support toward Orthopedic Levels and KLOSE Manual Lymph Drainage (lymphedema management) Certification. Our well established, busy clinic has a great location on the westside of Vancouver in the heart of Dunbar which is a wonderful residential neighbourhood, close to UBC, with easy access to transit and free parking.  

 

Our modern clinic decor has been professionally designed by award-winning BYU Design with aesthetics and client flow in mind. It consists of 6 treatment rooms each with hydraulic tables and controlled heat/air conditioning, large reception area with full time receptionist, kitchen/staff room, washroom and gym area. The space is wheelchair accessible with a patient drop-off area directly in front of the clinic.

What does the Clinical Skills Mentorship Program entail?

  • Regular one-on-one (and possibly group) clinic skill practice sessions and ortho level exam preparation with FCAMPT mentor

 

What does the Caseload Development Programs entail?

Meet with your assigned clinical mentor one-on-one on a regular basis to: 

  • Learn caseload growth, marketing and management tips
  • Problem solve challenging clinical cases, practice new and advance techniques to help build and sharpen your skills and grow your clinical toolkit
  • How to create a treatment plan and keep patients committed to it
  • How to interact with patients and establish rapport
  • Design a roadmap for your professional development: courses and certifications
