Steacy Joins Take Off Pounds Sensibly in Dunbar, Vancouver

Do you know that 5 pounds extra increases the risk of developing hip and knee arthritis?

One of the biggest dangers of middle age is putting on pounds. Weight gain increases the chance of getting diabetes, osteoarthritis, hardening of the arteries, and some cancers.

Get your exercise on with TOPS at Dunbar Community Centre.

Take Off Pounds Sensibly (Tops) meets at Dunbar Community Centre Thursday mornings. It is similar to Weight Watchers, but is non-profit and very inexpensive. Despite exercising a lot, Steacy has been stealing too many of her sons cookies, and is having to squeeze into her clothes this year. Tops offers great support. We will keep you posted on her progress – new clothes, or weight loss?

For more information, or to find what Steacy thought of her TOPS experience, visit the Go!Physiotherapy clinic in the Jericho Beach / Dunbar area of Vancouver!
